Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark made a successful return to the court on Saturday after a five-game absence due to a quadriceps injury.

Clark scored 32 points, had eight rebounds and nine assists against the New York Liberty to lead the Fever to a 102-88 win.

While Clark had seven turnovers, she still had an impact on all fronts, recording two blocks and one steal on the defensive end. She also shot 55 percent from the field and made seven of her 14 long-range shots.

Funnily enough, the Fever guard was her usual self, poking fun at one of her teammates in her new post. On Instagram Stories, she highlighted a photo of herself shooting a 3-pointer while Fever reserve Sophie Cunningham was kneeling behind her.

“Dude, how are you?” Clark wrote while tagging Cunningham.

Sophie Cunningham, who is also returning from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury, has yet to respond to Caitlin Clark’s message. However, given the two frequently exchange playful banter on social media, fans can expect a response from her soon.

Cunningham played well in her first game back, posting five points, four rebounds and a steal in 25 minutes off the bench. She had a team-high plus-minus rating of +31, highlighting her impact on the game.
